Prize-Winning Performance with the Dallas Chamber Symphony

The First Prize winner of the Dallas International Piano Competition wins a subscription concert engagement with the Dallas Chamber Symphony, to be scheduled in the 2015-2016 concert season. The winner may perform his or her concert, or negotiate another concert piece with the DCS Artistic Director, for performance at Dallas City Performance Hall. The First Prize winner agrees to be available for all orchestra rehearsals.

Master Classes

The Dallas International Piano Competition and SMU Meadows School of the Arts are committed to the development of pianists, and offer important professional opportunities to all invited contestants.

Pianists may apply to participate in the Competition and/or the Master Classes.

The 2015 master classes on solo repertoire will be given by Dr. Carol Leone and Joaquin Achucarro, and Alessio Bax.
